Young adults (18 to 25)
Everyone keeps telling you these are the best years of your life, which is a lot of pressure to put on someone who is also meant to build a career, keep a family happy, stay solvent and be fine the whole time.

Where this work takes you
A space that takes your twenties seriously. We untangle what's yours to carry from what you've been handed, and you leave with a steadier sense of who you are and what you actually want.
This is a good fit if
- You're 18 to 25 and juggling study, work, family expectation or all three
- You look fine on Instagram and feel lost everywhere else
- You're the first in your family to do this, whatever this is, and the pressure of that is real
How it unfolds
-
Starting
We begin with what's loudest right now. Exams, a breakup, the family, the flatness. There's no wrong door into the work.
-
Untangling
Week by week we work out which expectations are yours and which you inherited, and what you'd choose if the choosing were up to you. It is, as it turns out.
Every session includes
- A free 15-minute intro chat first
- Weekly 50-minute sessions at a reduced rate
- Flexible scheduling around term times and shift work

Afia is the first therapist I have not performed for. I did not know how much energy the performing was costing me until I stopped.

Asked before booking
Will you tell my parents anything?
No. You're an adult, and this is confidential within the usual safety limits, which I'll explain plainly in our first chat. What you share stays between us.
